COLOPL aims to protect minors and provide an environment in which all users can use the services it operates and provides in safety and with peace of mind and has formulated the following Safety and Soundness Guidelines in an endeavor to ensure secure service operation.

Article 1 ( Purpose )

The purpose of the Safety and Soundness Guidelines (the "Guidelines") is to indicate necessary measures to ensure the safety and soundness of persons who use services that COLOPL, Inc. (the "Company") operates and provides ("Users").

Article 2 ( Measures )

The following measures shall be taken to achieve the purpose in the preceding article.

( 1 ) Provision of rules and mechanisms to restrict the use of billing

With regard to services that involve billing for the sale of digital items, etc., excessive use of billing by Users shall be prevented through careful verification of User age at the time of membership enrollment or the time of billing and the setting of an upper limit on billing amount as well as in-game currency or through the institution of rules and mechanisms for regulating the use of billing in accordance with service content or User age, such as displaying a warning about the use of billing over a certain amount.

( 2 ) Provision of rules and mechanisms to restrict communication functions

With regards to the communication function between Users, the rules and mechanisms for the communication function should be established in a manner suitable for the content of the service to provide a secure communication environment.
For any services that provide private communication functions between Users, age verification must be required at the time of enrollment or before using the communication functions, followed by restrictions on the use of these services.
For open text communication functions such as forums, posting will be constantly monitored and prompt measures will be taken for any inappropriate postings.

( 3 ) Prohibition of real money trading ( RMT )

Real money trading (RMT), for whatever reason, shall be prohibited. Users found to have used RMT shall be dealt with in accordance with the Terms of Service. RMT providers shall be continuously requested to discontinue handling of the Company's items, and auction listings shall be routinely monitored.

( 4 ) Penalty system

Users who have violated the Terms of Service or engaged in conduct deemed inappropriate shall be subject to imposition of commensurate penalties, including revocation of membership.

( 5 ) Legal compliance related to services

Relevant laws and regulations shall be observed at the time of the development and provision of services. In particular, awareness raising and education about regulation under the Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations shall be undertaken, and any services subsequently found to violate the law, such as so-called "complete gacha," shall be immediately discontinued as soon as they are discovered.

( 6 ) Appropriate item appearance rates

With regard to the sale of randomly appearing for-pay items, such as "paid gacha," appearance rates shall be set at an appropriate level and changes disadvantageous to Users shall not be made.

( 7 ) Application of the Guidelines to location-based application providers

Location-based application providers (LAPs; providers that participate in the Company's platforms) that provide services on the Company's platforms shall be requested to observe the Guidelines.

( 8 ) Institution of a committee

A committee shall be instituted to maintain service safety and soundness, and the committee shall endeavor to realize further safety and soundness by engaging in regular discussion and verification.

( 9 ) Provision of a public awareness site for minors

A service use guide and public awareness site for minors and their guardians shall be provided as means of promoting safe and sound service use by minors.

Article 3 ( Updating )

Efforts shall be made to maintain the content of the Guidelines in an optimal state in light of changes in the social situation, changes in the User situation, and changes in service content.
